About the Role

Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University (Punjab), invites applications from senior academic leaders and accomplished industry experts who are actively engaged in teaching, mentoring, and academic leadership.

We are seeking a visionary leaders to drive transformation and excellence across our Undergraduate Programs in:

• Data Science
• Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Digital Science & Management

This role is ideal for professionals who bring a strong blend of industry exposure, academic engagement, strategic thinking, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic and academic leadership for the programs, ensuring excellence in delivery and outcomes
• Driving curriculum innovation aligned with industry needs, emerging technologies, and future-ready skills
• Mentoring, developing, and leading high-performing faculty teams while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration
• Establishing strong liaison with industry leaders, policymakers, and global institutions for internships, live projects, and collaborative initiatives
• Leading program expansion through new specializations, academic innovations, and institutional growth initiatives
• Representing the Department in academic, industry, and policy forums as a thought leader

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience across industry, academia, and/or academic administration
• Ability to lead change, inspire innovation, and contribute to future-focused academic ecosystems is highly desirable
• Demonstrated strength in industry engagement and academic transformation will be considered a strong plus
• Exposure to institutional growth, academic strategy, and stakeholder engagement shall be preferred.
• Experience with curriculum design & accreditation & ranking framework is an advantage, but not mandatory
