About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Leader to drive end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution in a fast-growing organization within the power electronics and manufacturing space. This role will be critical in building a robust, scalable, and future-ready supply chain that supports innovation, operational excellence, and business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership- Define and drive the overall supply chain strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Lead initiatives around vertical integration and make vs buy decisions
- Manage risks across the supply chain and proactively mitigate business impact
- Drive budgeting, planning, and cost optimization initiatives
Vendor & Supplier Management- Develop and manage a strong, diversified supplier base (domestic and international)
- Build long-term, win-win partnerships with vendors
- Lead vendor development initiatives including migration to preferred/green channel suppliers
- Monitor market trends related to pricing, availability, and supply risks
Operations & Execution- Ensure timely procurement with optimal cost, quality, and reliability
- Drive supply chain operations for import/export logistics
- Support new product development through efficient sourcing for prototypes and production
- Enable seamless coordination between R&D and manufacturing scale-up requirements
Process & Systems- Design and enhance supply chain processes across procurement, vendor management, and EXIM
- Establish and monitor monthly SCM MIS dashboards and reporting mechanisms
- Leverage ERP systems and analytics for data-driven decision making
Stakeholder Collaboration- Partner with internal teams on product innovation, delivery timelines, and cost optimization
- Provide insights on market trends, competition, and new technologies
- Support critical projects with expedited execution
Team Leadership- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
- Build strong capabilities across procurement, planning, and vendor management
Skills & Experience- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 5+ years in power electronics design/manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in vendor management, sourcing, and supply chain strategy
- Proven experience in budgeting, planning, and financial management of supply chains
- Understanding of working capital optimization and financial instruments
- Ability to differentiate supply chain needs for R&D vs manufacturing scale-up
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering
