About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Workday Finance Functional Consultant to drive end-to-end Workday Financials implementations. This is a client-facing leadership role involving solution design, configuration, and delivery across global deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations
- Own solution design, configuration, and testing activities
- Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Core Financials processes
- Work across modules including Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Banking and Settlement, and Inventory
- Handle global and multi-country deployments, including localization requirements
- Identify risks, mitigation strategies, and solution approaches
- Support testing cycles and resolve complex issues
- Contribute to delivery methodologies and continuous improvement
- Participate in pre-sales activities including scope, effort, and resource estimation
Required Skills and Experience
- 6–9 years of overall experience with strong focus on Workday Financials
- Proven experience as Lead Functional Consultant on at least 2 end-to-end Workday Financials implementations
- Hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, and testing
- Strong expertise in Workday Financials (Core), General Ledger, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Accounts Payable
- Experience with Procurement, Supplier Accounts/Contracts, and Fixed Assets
- Exposure to integrations and cross-system workflows
- Experience working on global or multi-country implementations
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Financial Data Model (FDM)
- Knowledge of Banking, Taxes, Reporting, and Budgets
- Exposure to Inventory and Business Assets
- Hands-on experience in EIB, iLoad, or data migration
- Workday reporting experience
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or Procurement domains
Certifications (Mandatory)
- Workday Certification in Financial Core, Financial Services, or P2P
- Workday Financial Reporting certification or experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financial iLoad
