Position Title: Lead Visual Merchandiser

Reporting To: Creative Head / Retail Head

Department: Visual Merchandising

Role Overview

The Lead Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for driving the brand’s visual identity across all retail formats. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience, strengthening brand storytelling, and maximising sales through an effective visual merchandising strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Visual Strategy & Brand Representation

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns

• Ensure consistency in brand representation across stores, exhibitions, and pop-ups

• Translate marketing themes and collections into compelling in-store visual stories

• Gather and incorporate customer experience feedback to refine VM approach

Store Execution & Display Planning

• Plan and execute window displays, mannequins, zoning, and store layouts

• Ensure timely rollout of new collections, promotions, and festive campaigns

• Optimize product placement to improve navigation and drive sell-through

Business & Performance Focus

• Collaborate with retail and category teams to align VM with business goals

• Analyse store performance and recommend VM improvements

• Manage VM budgets with a strong focus on ROI

• Drive improvements in sell-through and conversion rates

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with marketing and retail operations teams

• Partner with store managers to ensure daily VM upkeep

• Support events, fashion shows, and product launches

• Ensure timely execution of campaigns

Compliance & Maintenance

• Maintain high standards of VM hygiene and display quality

• Ensure safety, fixture maintenance, and overall visual standards

• Monitor and improve store visual compliance scores

• Conduct regular VM audits and provide actionable feedback

• Develop and maintain VM SOPs and best practices

Key Skills & Specifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field

• 6–10 years of experience in visual merchandising, with 2–3 years in a leadership role

• Experience handling multiple stores or regional VM operations preferred

• Strong understanding of fashion retail and styling

• Expertise in visual storytelling and space planning

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• High attention to detail and execution excellence

• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
