Lead Tester

We are looking for a QA Test Lead to join our Agile team and play a key role in delivering high-quality digital solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about quality engineering, automation testing, and mentoring teams while driving testing best practices across the development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment, contributing to scalable and reliable products used globally.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams to create digital solutions
- Introduce and maintain testing and reporting tools aligned with business and technology needs
- Take ownership of the overall testing strategy
- Lead testing best practices to help build high-quality applications
- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle and recommend improvements
- Drive shift-left testing practices with appropriate alerting and monitoring across products and services
- Maintain, execute, and report on non-functional testing including load, performance, and accessibility testing
- Support hiring, training, goal setting, and performance reviews for team members
- Guide and mentor junior team members on methodologies, processes, and tools
- Monitor team progress and help remove blockers impacting delivery
- Work with management teams to report, escalate, and resolve issues when required
Requirements:
- BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent degree with relevant experience
- Extensive experience in Testing/QA roles within the IT industry
- Strong experience in automation testing
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
- Strong experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript)
- Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps, and Git
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Browser Stack
- Well-versed in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills within a global organization
- Ability to capture and share meaningful metrics to keep teams and stakeholders informed
- Good presentation and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of modern Software Development and Testing processes
- Experience in API testing using Postman/Swagger
- Experience in Accessibility Testing
- Experience in Load and Performance Testing
- ISTQB/CSTE Certification
- Certified Agile Tester
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience working with global teams and across different geographies
