Role Summary
Lead architecture-driven discovery programs in close collaboration with Business Analysts, internal teams, and client leadership. Own architecture clarity from current-state assessment through future-state direction and roadmap definition.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead function-led discovery programs, starting with Marketing and scaling to Sales, Pricing, Channel, and other functions.
- Lead architecture-focused discovery across business functions, applications, integrations, data flows, and operating dependencies.
- Leverage expertise across the manufacturing enterprise stack to map integrations and recommend optimal architectures in multi-group, global technology ecosystems.
- Drive and participate in stakeholder interviews across business, IT, data, legal/compliance, and leadership teams to capture priorities, pain points, constraints, and decision needs.
- Translate interview insights into structured architecture artifacts and decision-ready outputs.
- Document current-state architecture (system landscape, integration points, data movement, ownership boundaries, and technical dependencies).
- Identify and document gaps, root causes, risks, and dependencies; convert them into quick wins and strategic architecture initiatives.
- Define future-state architecture principles, guardrails, and phased transformation roadmap.
- Provide business-value and ROI rationale for recommendations.
- Present findings to executive stakeholders in clear business language.
- Coordinate architecture handoff to implementation/vendor teams, including assumptions, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Collaborate continuously with Business Analysts, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams (this is not an individual contributor-only role).
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Discovery Program experience in enterprise transformation environments.
- Strong architecture documentation capability (mandatory), including:
· Discovery charter inputs
· Stakeholder interview summaries
· Current-state architecture maps
· Process/system/data flow documentation
· Capability-to-platform mapping
· KPI baseline alignment inputs
· Gap and dependency registers
· RAID logs
· RACI/governance alignment inputs
· Future-state architecture maps
· Executive read-out decks and roadmap documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to connect architecture recommendations to measurable business outcomes.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and client leadership.
Experience We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture / Technology Consulting roles.
- Experience in enterprise ecosystems (CRM, CMS, MarTech, analytics, data platforms, integrations).
- Experience in regulated industries is a strong advantage (manufacturing, healthcare, CPG).

The primary client stakeholder is a U.S.-based senior leader within a leading global manufacturer of automation, components, and robotics solutions.
This engagement focuses on understanding current-state technology capabilities, linking those capabilities to business goals, identifying gaps, and defining a strategic roadmap (what now, what next). You will also support internal leadership with account-level architecture intelligence and recommendations.
Success in First 90 Days
- Deliver validated current-state architecture documentation and dependency maps.
- Produce a prioritized gap assessment with business-value rationale.
- Align stakeholders on future-state architecture principles and phased roadmap.
- Enable a clean, execution-ready handoff to implementation/vendor teams.
