Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead NOC Engineer to oversee 24/7 network operations, ensure system reliability, and lead incident response efforts. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to manage a team of NOC engineers, drive operational excellence, and continuously improve monitoring and response processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 24/7 NOC operations, ensuring high availability and performance of network and systems infrastructure
- Monitor infrastructure using tools such as LogicMonitor, BMC Remedy Smart IT, and Vanguard
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs
- Drive incident management, including troubleshooting, coordination, and stakeholder communication
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures
- Lead, mentor, and manage NOC engineers, including shift planning and performance management
- Collaborate with Network, Load Balancer, Cloud, Security, and vendor teams for issue resolution
- Drive automation and toil reduction initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure operational readiness for new deployments in coordination with Engineering teams
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and support capacity planning
- Generate reports on system incident trends, and SLA compliance
Years Of Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC), Network Engineering, or IT Infrastructure Support roles
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role (preferred)
Education Qualification & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- CCNP certification (Mandatory)
- Fortinet or Palo Alto certification (Preferred / Not Mandatory)
- Cradlepoint certification (Preferred / Not Mandatory)
- Silver Peak certification (Preferred / Not Mandatory)

Routing & Switching, Firewalls, SD-WAN, F5 BIG-IP, Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure, Aruba Central, Juniper Mist, Aruba Networks Wireless, NOC Operations, Incident Management, SLA Management, RCA, Network Monitoring, Load Balancing, Network Security (Fortinet/Palo Alto), Troubleshooting.
Secondary Skill Sets (Desired)
- Experience with LogicMonitor
- Working knowledge of BMC Remedy Smart IT
- Good understanding of ITIL processes
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of SLA reporting and dashboards
- Awareness of process improvement in NOC environments
