🚀 We’re Hiring: Lead Systems Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)
Are you passionate about building complex systems and driving cross-functional innovation? We’re looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to lead system architecture, integration, and delivery of advanced wafer fabrication equipment.
🔧 About the Role
In this role, you will own system-level definition and integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and control domains. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring high-performance, reliable, and scalable equipment solutions from concept through release.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering for new product development programs, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Define system architecture, specifications, and requirements based on product and process needs.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across mechanical, electrical, chemical, software, and controls teams.
- Break down system requirements into functional subsystems and define interface control documents (ICDs).
- Identify and resolve system-level tradeoffs, risks, and integration challenges.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards throughout design and development phases.
- Own BOM structure and drive documentation and product release processes.
- Develop and present key engineering deliverables (FMEA, risk analysis, technical specs) in design reviews.
- Define system-level verification strategies and ensure end-to-end validation.
- Contribute to cost models and ensure design decisions align with cost targets.
- Develop reliability, maintainability, and serviceability strategies and test plans.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align requirements, interfaces, and execution.
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / PhD in Mechanical or Systems Engineering
- 17–22 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment engineering
🌟 What We’re Looking For
- Strong system architecture and integration expertise in complex capital equipment
- Deep understanding of multi-domain systems (mechanical, electrical, software, controls)
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and drive data-based decisions
- Experience with risk mitigation and root cause analysis (RCCA)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
- Ability to work independently with strong structure and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
