Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru for an Academic Counsellor. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students in choosing appropriate career paths and educational opportunities, providing assistance with course selections, and offering personalized advice to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. The role also involves effective communication with students and parents, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide tailored guidance for personal and academic development.
- Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and educational stakeholders.
- Experience in Academic Advising to assist with course selections and long-term academic planning.
- Background in Education with a passion for helping students achieve their potential.
- Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Basic understanding of education technology and familiarity with online learning platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
