The Lead – Stores – Site is responsible for overseeing end-to-end site-level stores operations, including material receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory control, and documentation. The role ensures materials are available on time, properly recorded, and securely managed in line with project requirements and company policies. The incumbent plays a key role in supporting project execution through efficient inventory management, process compliance, and system accuracy while minimizing wastage and pilferage.
Manage receipt, inspection, and proper storage of materials at the site store, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity specifications. ? Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely in warding of materials and confirmation against purchase orders. ? Issue materials to site teams as per indents and maintain accurate issue records in ERP or store ledger systems. ? Maintain minimum stock levels, reorder levels, and ensure uninterrupted material availability through timely planning and replenishment. ? Conduct regular physical verification of stock, investigate discrepancies, and prepare reconciliation reports. ? Ensure proper documentation and tagging of all incoming and outgoing materials including preparation of GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes).
