Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Lead Static Timing Analysis Engineer (LEC, ECO, PD). The engineer will be responsible for performing detailed static timing analysis (STA), logic equivalence checks (LEC), and engineering change order (ECO) implementation in collaboration with design and verification teams. The role also requires supporting physical design teams, resolving timing closure challenges, and ensuring error-free tape-outs through rigorous analysis and testing.
Qualifications:
Experience into STA and timing closure/signoff experience with PD domain skill-set/knowledge.
Run Primetime and validate constraints post synthesis runs.
Constraints promotion and demotion flow using TCM or TimeVision
Strong expertise in STA timing analysis basics, AOCV/POCV concepts, CTS, defining and managing timing constraints, Latch transparency handling, 0-cycle, multi-cycle path handling.
Evaluate multiple timing methodologies/tools on different designs and technology nodes.
Work on automation scripts within STA/Synthesis/PD tools for methodology development.
Design constraints creation using architecture/micro arch specs. Good understanding of various external IO protocols (I2C, SPI, UART etc)
Candidate should be able to understand the timing constraints, analyze design details, analyze timing reports from prepcts to postcts stages, in-depth concepts of <14nm Technode STA analysis, DCD knowledge.
Candidate is preferably expert in PT and Tempus tools.
B.E or Equivalent B.E or Equivalent Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
