About the Role
Steel Infra Agro (SIA) is looking for an experienced Leader and Sr. Engineers – Design (PEB & Structural) to lead our Design & Engineering function. The role involves managing the complete design lifecycle, from structural analysis and techno-commercial support to IFC drawings, while ensuring engineering excellence, quality, cost optimisation, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Design & Engineering team.
- Perform and review structural analysis using STAAD Pro.
- Prepare and review Design Basis Reports (DBR), structural calculations, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes and other relevant standards.
- Drive steel optimisation and value engineering initiatives.
- Review structural framing layouts, connection designs, BOQs, and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure timely release of accurate IFC drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Projects, and Site teams.
- Lead technical discussions with clients, consultants, and architects.
- Standardise engineering processes, SOPs, and quality practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in PEB, Structural Steel, or Heavy Fabrication.
- Experience in leading a structural design team.
