Lead Software Engineer - Windows L3 + Scripting (Taleo - 2600089F)
Windows Hardening
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead System Engineer with strong expertise in Windows administration, and OS lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will design and implement automation strategies for large-scale deployments, ensure compliance with security standards, and manage Microsoft environments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full OS lifecycle for Microsoft Windows (2016/2019/2022); 2025.
- Implement and maintain patch management processes across large infrastructures.
- Ensure system security and compliance with CIS Benchmark and OS hardening best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on Virtualization (VMware), Storage, and Network.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Follow internal processes (SOPs, ITIL, escalation, time tracking).
Experience And Qualifications
- 10+years of experience in Windows administration and automation.
- Must have experience in Windows Servers operating system Administration, deploying, managing large Windows server infrastructure.
- Must have excellent OS knowledge of Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025 and associate platform(s) and/or tools.
- Solid understanding of OS hardening (e.g. GPO) and compliance frameworks (CIS Benchmark).
- Expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Perl), and configuration management.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Virtualization (VMware), Storage, and Network.
- Proven experience in patch management at scale.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Windows 2025.
- Experience with clustering and large-scale automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
Education : Engineering Graduate / MCA / Computer Science Graduate or PG.

Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
