This role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with customer teams to ensure that digital products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Key responsibilities include developing and documenting comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements; performing manual testing such as functional, regression, integration, and pre-user acceptance testing and designing and implementing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, Accello/Helio Assure or similar to enhance efficiency and coverage. The engineer will also identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla, and work with customer teams to ensure timely resolution. Additional duties include conducting performance, load, and stress testing to meet benchmarks, ensuring cross-platform compatibility across devices and browsers, and providing detailed test reports and metrics highlighting results, defect status, and quality assessments. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least five years of experience in quality assurance, preferably with banking applications focused on trade finance and supply chain finance. Technical skills required include proficiency in manual and automated testing, experience with tools such as Selenium, Appium, Accello/Helio Assure, and performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, as well as familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Preferred skills include experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
