As Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for Designing and developing automated tests for functional and regression testing of our software products.
This position is part of the R&D Department and will be located in Bangalore, IDC, India . Our vision is to continuously drive innovation and efficiency in our development processes, leveraging the latest in software and hardware technologies to meet the needs of our global customers.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Design and develop automated test framework for functional and regression testing.
- Responsible for leading and developing the automated test suite for the product.
- Provide software verification documentation including, but not limited to, Test Plans, and Verification Reports
- Responsibility includes interacting with cross-functional stakeholders from SQA, Marketing, Service and support organizations, and project/program managers during the development and delivery of the product.
- Work closely with software development to understand product requirements and to create corresponding test plan, test designs est protocols, and build test strategies for the project.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 8+ years’ software automation testing experience with Java
- Strong experience in developing automated tests for web/cloud applications with Java
- Experience building automation frameworks and/or test infrastructure from scratch
- Knowledge of API Testing
- Knowledge of BDD, Cucumber framework
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Open source tools/technologies for Test Automation.
- Experience with REST, JSON
- A background in leveraging AI to improve operational performance.
- Experience working with distributed teams in a global setting.
