Green EDGE Technologies is a leading Infrastructure and Cybersecurity solutions provider with over 16 years of experience delivering enterprise IT and cybersecurity services across the UAE.
As we expand our Managed Security Services (MSS), Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Security Consulting, and GRC offerings into new international markets, we are looking for an experienced Lead – Security Operations & Cybersecurity Consulting to join our leadership team.
This is not a traditional SOC analyst position.
We're looking for someone who has built or significantly contributed to building Security Operations Centers (SOC), MDR platforms, or Managed Security Services and is excited to help create a world-class security practice from the ground up.
Your Mission
You will lead the design, implementation, and growth of Green EDGE's Security Operations practice while working closely with enterprise customers, technology partners, and internal teams.
You will define processes, implement best practices, develop service offerings, and help establish Green EDGE as a trusted Managed Security Services Provider.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations & MDR
- Design, build, and operationalize Green EDGE's Security Operations and MDR practice.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize MDR, SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Build operational playbooks, escalation procedures, detection rules, and incident response processes.
- Lead incident investigations, threat hunting, and root cause analysis.
- Manage relationships with MDR and cybersecurity technology vendors.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across security operations.
Cybersecurity Consulting
- Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments and security posture reviews.
- Deliver security advisory services aligned with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Support customers with security strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
- Assist in developing consulting methodologies and service offerings.
- Participate in customer workshops, executive briefings, and technical presentations.
Practice Development
- Build and mature Green EDGE's Managed Security Services portfolio.
- Define service catalogues, SLAs, operational KPIs, and reporting standards.
- Develop standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Mentor future SOC analysts and security engineers.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution design, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept engagements.
We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Security Operations, MDR, SOC, Incident Response, or Cybersecurity Consulting.
- Proven experience designing, building, or leading a SOC, MDR service, or Managed Security Services practice.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity security, endpoint protection, email security, and network security.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent consulting, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to translate business risks into practical cybersecurity solutions.

- CISSP
- GIAC Certifications
- Microsoft SC-200 / SC-100
- CompTIA CySA+
- CEH
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
- CISM or CRISC (preferred)
