India | Botanical Bioactives | Regenerative Systems
We are building a compliance-aligned botanical science and supply system across India’s biodiversity regions, designed for regulated global markets.
This role is responsible for structuring how plant intelligence becomes validated, comparable, and scalable scientific output across field and laboratory environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Structure and implement bioactive development frameworks across pilot species, from raw material through to formulation-ready outputs
• Align field variability (cultivation, harvest, post-harvest) with extraction, standardisation, and application requirements
• Design and oversee extraction approaches (oil, hydro-glycerin, or related systems) based on intended cosmetic or functional use
• Ensure batch-to-batch comparability through defined parameters, fingerprinting, and process controls
• Integrate lab outputs into a consistent system that supports validation, scalability, and downstream formulation use
• Coordinate with external labs, manufacturers, and scientific partners to deliver prototypes and maintain methodological rigour
• Support development of industrial bioactives suitable for cosmetic and fragrance-adjacent applications
Candidate Profile
• Strong background in organic chemistry, phytochemistry, natural product chemistry, or related disciplines
• Proven experience working on bioactives for cosmetic, personal care, or nutraceutical applications (not only raw extracts)
• Hands-on experience with extraction, standardisation, and translation of actives into usable systems
• Exposure to formulation or application environments (understanding how ingredients behave in finished systems)
• Ability to structure methods, define parameters, and build reproducible development workflows
• Comfortable working across field sourcing, lab development, and external manufacturing partners
Only experienced candidates with a demonstrated track record in bioactive development and application will be considered. This is not a role for early-career profiles or candidates limited to academic or purely analytical work.
