Job Description
As the SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a crucial role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring a team of SAP consultants, ensuring the successful implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand and interpret business needs, translating them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the quality and performance of SAP S/4HANA solutions through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Provide technical expertise and support during SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI/UX design principles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL programming.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
