Job Description
As an SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical direction and strategy for our SAP implementations. You will lead a team of developers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality SAP solutions. Your expertise in ABAP development, technical architecture, and integrations will be key in delivering successful projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Design and develop SAP technical solutions, considering best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and configure SAP modules, ensuring seamless integrations with other systems.
- Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Document and maintain technical design and development artifacts for future reference.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards in SAP implementations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation.
- Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Dictionary, and SAP UI5/Fiori.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP development teams.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP integration concepts and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and its services is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
