Role Description The Lead SAP Ariba Buying and CIG Consultant will oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Ariba Buying and CIG integrations for enterprise clients. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading workshops with business and IT stakeholders, translating requirements into solution designs, configuring SAP Ariba modules, and managing CIG-based integrations with SAP ERP and other systems. The role involves supervising functional and technical teams, guiding data migration and master data alignment, performing system testing and issue resolution, and ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines. The consultant will also support change management, provide user training, create documentation, and contribute to presales, proposals, and continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Process and Consulting skills, with the ability to map procurement and finance processes to SAP Ariba and SAP ERP solutions.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret complex requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and Master Data management to ensure accurate financial postings and data consistency across systems.
- Expertise in SAP Ariba Buying, CIG integrations, and related SAP products; prior experience in end-to-end Ariba implementation or migration projects.
- Proven experience leading project teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering projects in a consulting or system integrator environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing client needs.
