Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Data Cloud Developer with 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of Salesforce development experience and 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud implementation experience, to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, Customer 360, CRM Analytics, and enterprise data architecture. This role requires technical leadership, solution design expertise, strong stakeholder collaboration, and experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Data Cloud Development
1. Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for enterprise customer data management.
2. Configure Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), and Identity Resolution.
3. Develop calculated insights, segmentation, and activation strategies within Data Cloud.
4. Build unified customer profiles using Customer 360 Data Model.
5. Configure data ingestion from Salesforce clouds and external enterprise systems.
6. Design data harmonization, mapping, transformation, and deduplication processes.
7. Develop activation workflows for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and external platforms.
8. Optimize Data Cloud performance for large-scale customer datasets. 9. Troubleshoot Data Cloud ingestion, identity resolution, and activation issues.
10. Ensure Data Cloud solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, and privacy standards.
Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud Development
1. Design and develop scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and Flow.
2. Customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud based on business requirements.
3. Configure Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Cases, Knowledge, Omni Channel, Entitlements, and Service Console.
4. Develop automation using Flow, Process Builder (where applicable), Apex Triggers, and Batch Apex.
5. Implement approval processes, assignment rules, escalation rules, and validation rules.
6. Design custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and Lightning Record Pages.
7. Develop reusable Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components. 8. Optimize Salesforce applications for scalability and performance. 9. Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical resolutions. 10. Ensure Salesforce platform best practices and coding standards are followed.
Integration & Enterprise Architecture
1. Design enterprise integration solutions between Salesforce and external applications.
2. Develop REST and SOAP integrations using Salesforce APIs.
3. Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise data warehouses and cloud platforms.
4. Develop event-driven integrations using Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Pub/Sub APIs.
5. Configure integrations with MuleSoft, Informatica, SAP, Oracle, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and other enterprise platforms.
6. Implement secure integrations using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Named Credentials, and Connected Apps.
7. Design scalable enterprise data architecture supporting Customer 360 initiatives.
8. Develop reusable integration frameworks and shared services.
9. Ensure integration performance, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
10. Collaborate with enterprise architects on Salesforce platform strategy.
Data Architecture & Governance
1. Design scalable enterprise customer data models.
2. Define Data Cloud data mappings and data harmonization strategies.
3. Implement identity resolution rules and matching policies.
4. Establish data governance standards for customer data management.
5. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and enterprise privacy standards.
6. Monitor data quality and implement cleansing strategies.
7. Develop metadata management and documentation standards.
8. Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies.
9. Collaborate with business teams on master data management initiatives.
10. Support enterprise data governance programs.
DevOps & Quality Assurance
1. Implement Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Copado.
2. Perform unit testing using Apex test classes with high code coverage.
3. Conduct peer code reviews and enforce Salesforce development best practices.
4. Manage source control using Git or Bitbucket.
5. Automate deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
6. Monitor platform health using Salesforce monitoring tools.
7. Optimize deployments with minimal downtime.
8. Support production releases and environment management.
9. Resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis.
10. Ensure compliance with enterprise security and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery
1. Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand business requirements.
2. Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.
3. Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
4. Support effort estimation, sprint planning, and technical roadmap creation.
5. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
6. Coordinate with QA, DevOps, architects, and integration teams.
7. Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer sessions.
8. Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators.
9. Ensure timely delivery of Salesforce implementation projects.
10. Communicate project status, risks, and technical challenges to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Salesforce Data Cloud Expertise
1. 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud implementation experience.
2. Strong expertise in Data Streams, DLOs, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Segmentation, and Activation.
3. Experience implementing Customer 360 Data Model.
4. Experience configuring data ingestion from Salesforce and external systems.
5. Expertise in calculated insights and data transformations.
6. Strong understanding of customer identity management.
7. Experience implementing enterprise-scale Data Cloud solutions.
8. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

1. 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.

5. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture.
6. Experience with Experience Cloud is preferred.

Architecture & Integration Experience
