Growth Explorer – Business Development & Platform Expansion
Parinaamaa.AI Pvt Ltd
Kochi, Kerala · Hybrid (Field + Remote + Office) · 0–3 Years · Technology Platforms for Institutional & Rural Service Ecosystems
About Parinaamaa.AI
India has a quiet infrastructure problem that most people in tech never see.
Thousands of institutions — temples, community organisations, rural enterprises, local cooperatives, service providers — are running their entire operations on paper, phone calls, and word of mouth. Not because they’re behind the times, but because the tools built for digital adoption were never designed with them in mind.
That’s the gap we’re building into. Parinaamaa.AI creates simple, practical technology platforms that help these organisations go online, manage their services, accept bookings, and reach people beyond their immediate geography. The goal is direct: bring India’s next million offline institutions into the digital economy, on their own terms.
About This Role
We’re not hiring salespeople to push a product. We’re looking for people who want to help build a market that doesn’t fully exist yet.
As a Growth Explorer, you’ll work directly alongside the founding team — not in a support function, but as an active participant in taking the platform into the real world. You’ll meet institutions, listen to how they operate, understand their frustrations, and help them take their first real steps into digital.
This role is a genuine blend of business development, go-to-market execution, client onboarding, and field-level market discovery. If you’ve been looking for a role where your instincts and initiative matter more than a script, this is it.
One thing worth saying plainly: this is not a desk role. A significant part of your time will be spent in the field — meeting people, building relationships, and figuring things out on the ground.
What You’ll Be Doing
Market Discovery & Outreach
You’ll spend real time in the field — visiting institutions, enterprises, and community organisations to understand how they actually operate. The goal isn’t just to find leads; it’s to develop genuine insight into where digital platforms can create the most meaningful change. You’ll build relationships with administrators, coordinators, and institutional leaders, and those relationships will feed directly into how we grow.
Platform Evangelism
You’ll introduce the Parinaamaa platform to organisations that, in many cases, have never used a digital tool for their core operations. That requires patience, clarity, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply. You’ll conduct demonstrations, walk people through online bookings and service management, and earn the trust of institutions that are stepping into something new.
Client Onboarding & Implementation
Once an institution decides to come onboard, you’ll own the process of getting them set up — configuring services, activating their microsite, and training their administrators. The measure of success here isn’t just activation; it’s whether the organisation is genuinely using the platform and finding value in it.
Partnership & Ecosystem Development
Some of the biggest growth opportunities won’t come from individual institutions — they’ll come from networks. You’ll identify and build relationships with federations, trusts, cooperatives, enterprise clusters, and organised community networks. These partnerships could unlock large-scale onboarding across regions, and building them requires both strategic thinking and genuine relationship skills.
Customer Success & Growth
Your job doesn’t end at onboarding. You’ll stay connected with early adopters, help them work through operational challenges, and surface insights that feed back into the product and growth strategy. The field intelligence you bring back is as valuable to us as the onboardings you close.
Who Should Apply
This role is built for someone who wants to grow into business development, go-to-market strategy, or market expansion — and wants to do it by actually doing the work, not sitting in training programmes.
You’ll fit well here if you genuinely enjoy meeting people and building relationships, feel comfortable in field environments and unstructured situations, are curious about how startups build markets from scratch, like the idea of experimenting with outreach and partnership models, and want to work closely with founders rather than inside a large hierarchy.
The career paths this role naturally leads into include Business Development Leader, Growth & GTM Strategist, Regional Expansion Manager, and — for those with the entrepreneurial drive — early team member or founder at a startup of their own.
What the First Six Months Look Like
We believe the best way to learn this work is by doing it. Here’s how we think about the ramp:
Months 1–2: Get grounded. Learn the platform deeply — its features, its use cases, and its limitations. Join field visits, sit in on institutional meetings, and develop a clear picture of how organisations currently manage services and bookings without digital tools.
Months 2–3: Start building a pipeline. Begin meeting potential institutions independently. Run product demonstrations. Start converting conversations into genuine interest, and build a pipeline of organisations ready to come onboard.
Months 3–4: Deliver onboardings. Move from pipeline to execution. Support early institutions through setup, service configuration, and launch. Make sure they don’t just activate — make sure they succeed.
Months 4–6: Think bigger. Start identifying institutional networks and clusters that could accelerate growth beyond individual onboardings. Strengthen partnerships. Bring back ideas that change how we approach outreach and expansion.
By the end of six months, the expectation is that you’ll have supported onboarding of 100+ institutions across multiple regions, built genuine relationships with early adopters and institutional partners, and developed a working understanding of what it takes to bring a technology platform into traditional service ecosystems. More than anything, you’ll have become someone the founding team genuinely relies on.
What You’ll Gain
Working at Parinaamaa.AI at this stage gives you something that’s hard to get anywhere else: real ownership of real problems, very early on.
You’ll work directly with founders and early customers from day one. You’ll gain hands-on experience across business development, GTM execution, and product adoption that would take years to accumulate inside a larger organisation. You’ll see, at close range, how a technology company builds its market. And you’ll have a clear path to grow into a Regional Growth Lead or National Expansion role as the platform scales.
Compensation
Salary: Competitive for an early-stage startup, discussed transparently during the process.
Incentives: Performance-based rewards tied to successful platform onboarding.
Travel Allowance: Fully covered for field visits.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Attention
Most jobs at this level involve executing someone else’s playbook. This one involves helping write it.
What we’re building doesn’t exist at scale in India yet. If it works — and we have strong reason to believe it will — the Parinaamaa platform will give thousands of institutions a digital presence and operational capability they’ve never had. That’s a meaningful thing to be part of.
Joining now means joining the founding growth team. That carries real weight — and real opportunity.
This role is for builders. If that’s you, we’d like to hear from you.
How to Apply
Send your resume and a short note — no more than a paragraph or two — explaining why startup growth and platform expansion interests you right now.
