Role: Lead – Security Automation and Innovation
Location: RCP, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai
This role is responsible for ensuring the cybersecurity ecosystem evolves at pace with a rapidly changing threat landscape.
As the Lead – Security Automation and Innovation, you translate cybersecurity research into deployable capabilities. You will design and develop custom tools, build automation frameworks, and assess emerging attack vectors to deliver scalable solutions that improve organizational resilience.

Domain
Tools, Techniques & Frameworks to Master
Development & APIs
Advanced Python, Java, or C#; mastery of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
Automation & DevOps
Building CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Git-based workflows.
Frontend/Backend
Creating security dashboards using React/Angular/Vue.js and frameworks like Spring Boot or Django.
Security Tech Stack
Deep integration with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and Cloud Security governance tools.
AI-Assisted Research
Using AI-assisted development tools (eg. Cursor) to accelerate prototyping and support secure software development practices.
The Playbook: Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Research & Strategy
- Conduct deep research on emerging attack techniques and the evolving threat landscape.
- Identify "innovation gaps" where automation can significantly enhance current security posture.
- Provide high-level recommendations on new tech based on feasibility, cost, and security value.
Security Solution Development
- Design and build custom cybersecurity tools and automation platforms from the ground up.
- Develop scripts and integrations to improve interoperability between global security systems.
- Lead the architecture discussions for future security capabilities and internal applications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with CDC (Cyber Defense Centre), Risk, and IT teams to transition solutions from proof of concept to production deployment.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for senior stakeholders.
- Mentor teams on secure coding practices and modern SDLC principles.
Experience
- 10–12 years of overall information technology and/or cybersecurity experience
- 2–5 years of dedicated experience in Software Architecture, Design, or Development.
- Proven track record of building security tools, APIs, or automation frameworks in enterprise environments.
Education
- BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / MS from a reputed/recognized institute.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent technical security credentials.

- A natural curiosity for AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present innovation initiatives clearly and align them to business and security objectives.
