About the role
As a Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of QA engineers and leading the entire quality assurance process. You’ll drive the development of automation frameworks and ensure that high-quality software products are delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in designing, developing, and executing test strategies and automation frameworks.
- Own the quality process from test planning to post-release validation and support.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to meet quality standards.
- Develop and optimize automation scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and Pytest.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, encouraging best practices and a quality-first mindset.
- Track and report QA metrics, including defect density, coverage, and test execution.
- Identify and drive improvements to testing processes and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium, TestNG, and Pytest.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
