Role Description The Lead QA – Robot Framework and Python role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Robot Framework and Python for complex, business-critical applications. The Lead QA will define quality standards, create test plans and test cases, and oversee functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities. Day-to-day work includes collaborating closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects early, ensure robust test coverage, and drive continuous improvements in quality processes and tooling. The role also includes mentoring QA team members, reviewing automation scripts, coordinating test environments, and contributing to release readiness and production stability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess experience in Quality Management and Quality Auditing, with the ability to define standards, perform reviews, and support compliance with organizational quality policies.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar regulated quality frameworks, and apply structured, risk-based approaches to testing and validation where relevant.
- Strong proficiency in Robot Framework and Python for test automation, including scripting, framework customization, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience leading QA teams or projects, mentoring team members, and coordinating activities across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools, issue trackers, version control systems, and CI/CD platforms.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and best practices in automation-first testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
