We are having an opening for Lead QA/QC Engineer – Instrumentation for a leading multidisciplinary EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company at Mumaligara Assam Location.
Position : Lead QA/QC Engineer – Instrumentation
Qualification:B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
Location: Numaligarh, Assam
Experience: 8+ years of experience
Working day – Monday to Saturday ( Transportation Fooding and Accommodation included)
Job Description:
- Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP) for Instrumentation scope in line with contract
requirements.
- Develop and review ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
- Review technical specifications, data sheets, drawings, and vendor documents to ensure
compliance with contractual standards.
- Ensure alignment with applicable codes and standards (IEC, ISA, ISO, client specifications,
etc.).
- Maintain documentation control for instrumentation quality records.
- Conduct inspection of incoming instrumentation materials including field instruments, control
- panels (DCS / PLC / SCADA), junction boxes, cables and accessories.
- Verify vendor documents, calibration certificates, test reports, and compliance certificates.
- Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and witness inspections at vendor works when
required.
Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required
• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in QA/QC for Instrumentation in Industrial Construction / EPC
projects (Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Power / Heavy Industry). Diploma candidates
require minimum 13 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, DCS, PLC, SCADA, field devices, and industrial
automation.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, ISA, and ISO.
• Experience handling FAT, SAT, loop checking, and commissioning quality documentation.
• Strong documentation and audit management skills.
• Good communication and coordination capability with client, PMC, and site teams.
• Detail-oriented with high integrity and compliance mindset.
