Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Python Developer with 8–12 years of experience in backend application development, API design, microservices, cloud technologies, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Support sprint planning, estimations, and delivery management.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring engineers.
Primary Skills
- 8–12 years experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis).
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
Preferred Skills
- AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Git and code review practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or Generative AI applications.
