Job Description
The Lead Product Manager will own and drive the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and associate Digital Products for EU Generics (EUG) and Consumer Health. The role is accountable for process excellence, SAP solution leadership, application stability, and continuous improvement across EUG finance and procurement applications.
The position acts as the single point of accountability for business outcomes, system performance, change execution, and stakeholder management across multiple EUG countries including but not limited to Switzerland, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany.
Product Ownership (EUG and CH)
- Own end-to-end P2P and R2R processes Digitization for the EUG and CH Vertical, including:
- Vendor lifecycle and master data governance
- Purchase requisition to purchase order processing
- Goods/service receipt and invoice verification
- Payments, accruals, period close, and financial postings
- Ensure process standardization across EUG countries while addressing statutory, audit, and country-specific requirements.
- Act as owner for process performance, adoption, and compliance.
Coordination with COE
- Serve as the primary interface between EUG/CH business teams and Digital COE.
- Translate business requirements into well-defined change requests, enhancements, and problem statements for COE execution.
- Participate in solution reviews, design discussions, and impact assessments driven by COE.
- Ensure COE deliverables align with EUG/CH business priorities, Audit and ITGC requirements
Application Oversight – EUG/CH Landscape
- Own business accountability for EUG/CH applications supporting P2P and R2R (SAP and non-SAP).
- Ensure application stability, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Work with COE and vendors to manage integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Stakeholder & Country Engagement
- Engage with:
- EUG Finance and Procurement leadership
- Country business users and finance controllers
- COE leads and support teams
- External vendors and auditors (where required)
- Act as advisor to business leaders on system capabilities, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline. MBA preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
6+ years overall experience.
