Role Description
This is a full-time (Contract) remote opportunity for a Lead Power BI Developer, open to candidates across India. In this role, the professional will focus on developing and implementing Power BI solutions, creating dashboards, and conducting data analysis to support business objectives. The role involves data modeling, building and optimizing data presentations, managing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reports and visualizations meet organizational needs and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data visualization roles with a strong Power BI focus.
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Power BI report development
- Data modeling
- DAX
- Workspace and environment management
- Proven experience owning production Power BI dashboards in an Operations or enterprise environment.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to validate BI outputs against backend data.
- Demonstrated experience inheriting, stabilizing, and improving existing dashboards.
- Experience working with multiple and imperfect data sources (e.g., operational systems, SharePoint lists, spreadsheets, service platforms).
- Understanding of analytics governance concepts, including metric consistency and access control.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ambiguity into clear analytics solutions.
- Strong communication skills and confidence operating independently.
- Availability during Mountain Standard Time (MST) working hours.
