Role Overview
This profile will be responsible for driving the people capability, learning, and culture agenda across all stores. The role requires a highly execution-oriented individual who can travel extensively across locations, conduct on-ground trainings, create structured learning interventions, and build a strong culture of continuous development across the organization.
The individual will work closely with Operations, People and Business teams to enhance employee capability, strengthen service excellence, and ensure teams are aligned with Foodstories’ culture, values, and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
Capability Development & Training Execution
- Conduct regular on-ground training sessions across stores and city teams.
- Drive induction, refresher, and people capability development programs for frontline and store leadership teams.
- Coach teams on service excellence, communication, guest handling, grooming, professional conduct, and leadership behaviors.
- Travel extensively across stores to monitor training effectiveness and support team development on-ground.
Learning Content & Training Modules
- Create and develop structured training modules, capability frameworks, SOP-based learning material, and behavioral development programs.
- Continuously upgrade training content basis business and operational requirements.
- Build role-specific learning journeys and development plans for store teams.
Training Planning & External Collaborations
- Create and manage monthly and quarterly training calendars in alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external training partners to identify and execute relevant workshops, certifications, and development interventions.
- Ensure timely execution and closure of all planned learning initiatives.
Culture & People Development
- Drive a strong learning and development culture across stores.
- Lead initiatives focused on:

- SOPs and Compliances
Governance & Training Effectiveness
- Track training completion, certifications, and development progress across teams.
- Conduct periodic capability audits and maintain training MIS/reporting dashboards.
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and operational improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Hospitality Training, or People Capability Development.
- Strong luxury hospitality or luxury retail background is mandatory.
- Experience in creating training modules, behavioral training programs, and people development frameworks preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with a hands-on execution approach.
- Comfortable with inter-city and intra-city travel.
