Role Description:
Responsible for design, implementation, and advanced support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. Acts as the escalation point for L1/L2 teams, ensuring availability, performance, cost efficiency, and compliance across multi-tenancy OCI setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize OCI services - Compute, Network, Storage, Database.
- Design and deploy HA, secure, and scalable OCI architectures.
- Troubleshoot complex performance, connectivity, and provisioning issues.
- Manage IAM, VCN, DRG, VPN, NSGs, and security configurations.
- Support OCI DB Systems, Autonomous DB, and Exadata Cloud.
- Automate tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and OCI CLI.
- Perform RCA, patching, DR drills, and capacity planning.
- Ensure governance, tagging, cost control, and ITIL compliance.
Certifications (Preferred):
- OCI Architect Professional (mandatory / strong plus)
- Oracle Cloud Operations / ITIL Foundation
- Multi-cloud certs (AWS / Azure) - added advantage
Technical Skills:
- OCI Services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancer
- Networking: VCN, DRG, VPN, FastConnect
- Security: IAM, KMS, Cloud Guard, Security Zones
- Automation: Terraform, Ansible, OCI CLI, Python/PowerShell
- DB Services: Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud, Data Guard
