About The Role
The Lead NetSuite Analyst at Cimpress is a critical role responsible for managing and optimizing our NetSuite environment along with other integrated systems such as BuildASign’s legacy platform, Salesforce, QlikSense, Avalara, and NOP Commerce. This role involves overseeing SKU management, supporting month-end closing processes, data cleanup, and providing technical support to various departments. The Lead Analyst will work closely with the Controller, external NetSuite consultants, and internal team members to ensure the system’s functionality aligns with business needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding business operations and leveraging technology to deliver efficient, scalable solutions. They should possess a proactive approach to system management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall operational excellence of the organization.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Management Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite—including administration, implementation, consulting, or development—is essential. Strong proficiency in NetSuite functionalities, CSV imports, saved searches, SuiteBuilder, and web services is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Knowledge of mass customization processes and experience with programming languages such as SuiteScript, JavaScript, and SQL are advantageous. Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles and experience in scaling processes for growing product teams will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage item SKUs, including creation, mapping, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite support, providing technical and functional assistance across departments.
- Maintain and optimize NetSuite configurations to meet business requirements, collaborating with external consultants for system enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of new products, processes, or system changes, performing validation prior to deployment.
- Create, update, and optimize reports and saved searches; assist in data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure seamless and accurate data flow between NetSuite and other integrated systems.
- Understand end-to-end system integrations with NetSuite and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with users to identify system needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data cleanup procedures to maintain data integrity across platforms.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing user access, permissions, roles, and audit reports.
- Assist the Controller with special projects, audit requests, and system improvement initiatives.
