🔬 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Microbiologist to join our Paints & Coatings Biocides division in Hyderabad. This is a hands-on technical role with direct customer-facing responsibility across major paint companies.
📍 Location: Hyderabad
🎓 Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiology
📅 Experience: 3–5 Years
What You'll Do
- Manage customer service projects from sample inward entry to final report submission
- Perform and supervise microbiological testing for paints, coatings, and preservative systems
- Conduct fungal, bacterial, and algal resistance studies on customer samples and formulations
- Plan and coordinate laboratory work across microbiology and analytical teams
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to customers (Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Kansai Nerolac)
- Support R&D for new formulations, preservative combinations, and application improvements
- Assist in technical presentations, customer visits, and product demonstrations
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years in Industrial Microbiology / Paint Biocides
- Hands-on experience in fungal, bacterial & algal testing, paint preservation studies, and microbial challenge testing
- Good understanding of paint contamination and preservative performance
- Strong communication skills for interaction with technical teams of major paint companies
- Knowledge of GLP, SOPs, ASTM/ISO microbiological methods is an advantage
- Exposure to paint application testing and analytical evaluation preferred
