We are seeking a highly experienced MERN Stack Lead to drive the design, architecture,and delivery of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate must have successfully led ateam of at least 5 developers, including both frontend and backend engineers, and havestrong hands-on expertise across the MERN stack.This is a strictly Work From Office role requiring close collaboration with cross-functionalteams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Lead a team of minimum 5 developers (Frontend + Backend).
• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews.
• Drive sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery ownership.
• Enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD processes.
Architecture & Design
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures.
• Define backend services architecture, API contracts, and database design.
• Implement microservices and event-driven architectures where needed.• Review and approve technical designs and solution documents.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance optimization.
Full-Stack Development (Hands-On)
• Develop and maintain applications using:o MongoDBo Express.jso React.jso Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize frontend performance and implement responsive UI/UX.
• Ensure security best practices across application layers.Collaboration & Delivery
• Work closely with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Manage production releases and post-deployment monitoring.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of overall software development experience.
• Minimum 3+ years leading a team of at least 5 developers.
• Strong expertise in:o React.js (Redux/Context API, Hooks, performance optimization)o Node.js & Express.jso MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation)
• Solid experience in:o System Design & Architectureo API security (JWT, OAuth)o CI/CD pipelineso Docker & containerized deployments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strictly willing to work from office (no remote/hybrid).
