Lead Linux Administrator – L2/L3 Support

Job Summary
Looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with strong L2/L3 application and platform support experience. The role involves Linux administration, incident/problem/change management using ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance, system stability, and coordinating with Infra, SRE, and Development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for applications and platforms.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management in ITSM/ServiceNow.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve production issues.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
- Support deployments, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with Infra, SRE, Network, and Development teams.
- Create operational documents and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills
- Strong Linux Administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
- Shell scripting knowledge (Bash/Shell).
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
- Understanding of system monitoring, networking, and server performance.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AWS/Azure, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices.
