Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gurgaon, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. As a Lead Lightning Protection & Grounding Design Engineer, you will oversee the design and implementation of lightning protection, grounding, and earthing systems for a variety of projects. Responsibilities include creating system designs aligned with international standards, conducting site surveys, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams, and ensuring precise documentation. You will also provide technical guidance, risk assessments, and engage in quality assurance activities to deliver efficient and compliance-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Lightning Protection, Grounding Design, and Earthing Systems
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and international lightning protection standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA)
- Experience with engineering software tools related to design and simulation for electrical systems
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in lightning and surge protection
- Experience in data-driven analysis for optimizing system designs
- Prior experience in infrastructure, industrial facilities, or related projects is advantageous
