About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in database technologies and a solid understanding of banking domain systems.
This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development, along with close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
Guide and mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
Coordinate with application teams for testing, UAT, and production deployment
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
Manage release cycles and support post-production activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Java 8+)
Extensive experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
Secondary Skills (At least one preferred)
Oracle Database
MS SQL Server
Domain Expertise (Preferred)
Strong understanding of banking systems, financial transactions, and regulatory requirements
Experience working on payment systems, lending platforms, or core banking solutions
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
