Job Summary:
Lead Investigation - Whistle Blower will conduct confidential investigations into whistle blower complaints, fraud, misconduct, and policy violations; collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions; prepare investigation reports and presentations; support policy reviews, training programs, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of investigation records. Also undertake other assignments within the Legal & Compliance function as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigation To conduct investigations into various aspects of the BFIL’s operations and/or conduct of individuals to identify and address potential instances of non-compliance, fraud, misconduct, or other unethical behaviour, that harms or is likely to harm the reputation or financial well-being of BFIL or may lead to legal and/or regulatory censure.
- Work cross-functionally across teams and also maintaining confidentiality: As a part of Whistle Blower team (Legal & Compliance), the resource will work in close partnership with Zones, Business heads, Human Resources, Admin, IT, and Leadership @ HO to get the information and understand the process and practises to investigate and suggest corrective steps after investigation
- Report writing/presentation to the committee/conducting training: Plan, develop and author variety of investigation report, present the gist of the same to the Board/Committee/Sr executive for corrective steps. Conducting training on the cases investigated for correction by employees.
- Review of policy & process related to Whistle Blower: Initiate the process of review and seeking comment from all stake holders for changing in the whistle Blower Policy and at last to be placed before the Board Committee and Board for the approval.
- Record and report maintaining: One need to maintain all record /register /report in the manner advised in the policy and also ensure conducting of the Audit of mechanism as per policy.
- Other Assignment of Legal & Compliance:
- As part of the Legal & Compliance team other assignment/task may also be assigned
Experience: 5-10 years of experience with experience in investigation of confidential matter. Expert in investigation and report writing in a corporate environment. Good command over English language is a must. Ability to lead & manage all investigation, report writing, presentation , suggestion of corrective steps. Preferably from consulting firm and legal & compliance qualification shall be added advantage.
