Job Objective
To lead the incoming Quality inspection and supplier quality management function, ensuring that all purchased parts, raw materials, and services meet established quality standards, and driving supplier quality improvements through various audits, corrective actions, and partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the incoming quality inspection team to ensure timely clearance of materials.
- Develop and implement supplier quality standards, agreements, and audit plans.
- Perform supplier evaluations, process audits, and capability assessments. Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions with suppliers.
- Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams for supplier development.
- Maintain supplier quality scorecards and drive for continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of incoming materials.
- Work closely with design, production, and supply chain for quality issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and Customer requirements in supplier processes.
- Train and mentor, the team in supplier quality tools and techniques
- Understands customer quality expectations and aligns inspection criteria accordingly.
- Knowledge about Sampling process & Techniques

- On-time clearance of incoming materials for production.
- Effective closure of supplier CAPAs and audit findings.
