Role Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new software systems and features.
- Modify and maintain existing systems to meet changing business requirements.
- Drive software change management processes and contributes to release management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure robust application performance.
- Development using AWS OpenSearch
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum and mandated qualifications:
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer Engineer.
- AWS technologies such as AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch Jobs, PostgreSQL, AWS OpenSearch
- NodeJS and Typescript.
- Unit and integration testing
- Micro-services
- REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to application development and deployment.
Additional Qualifications
- The following skills are considered a plus and may help distinguish top candidates:
- Integration experience with Terraform and AWS Secrets and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Experience building CI/CD processes and workflows
