Role Description
Job Title: SFDC Data Cloud Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions on the Salesforce Data Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and activation, enabling unified customer data experiences and advanced analytics use cases.
You will play a key role in building data pipelines, integrations, and data-driven customer journeys, supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data ingestion, harmonization, and unification pipelines within Salesforce Data Cloud.
Develop and manage data models, identity resolution rules, and segmentation strategies.
Integrate data from multiple source systems (CRM, external systems, APIs, data lakes).
Build and optimize calculated insights, derived attributes, and data transformations.
Enable real-time and batch data processing to support customer 360 initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Work closely with Salesforce platform teams (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) for data activation.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with enterprise data standards.
Support deployment, testing, and optimization of Data Cloud solutions.
Troubleshoot performance and data-related issues and implement improvements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4 - 8 years of experience in Salesforce or data engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) or related data platforms.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.
Experience in working with large-scale, distributed data systems.
Proficiency in SQL and data transformation logic.
Experience with API integrations and data connectors.
Knowledge of SaaS-based application architectures and cloud data ecosystems.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Marketing Cloud, or CRM analytics.
Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/GCP data services).
Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce.
