Role Description
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
SAP BW/4HANA Developer to join our team and support enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
SAP BW/4HANA development,
SAP HANA-based data modeling, and integration experience with
SAP BTP and
SAP Ariba.
This role will work closely with business, analytics, and functional teams to design scalable data models, develop robust data flows, and enable reporting solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP BW/4HANA data models including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects
- Build and maintain Transformations, DTPs, process chains, and data loading frameworks
- Develop scalable and high-performance reporting data models for enterprise analytics
- Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, and external systems
- Support data acquisition using ODP, CDS views, SLT, APIs, and ETL tools
- Work with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI for integration scenarios and cloud connectivity
- Support Ariba procurement and supplier data integration for reporting and analytics
- Optimize BW/4HANA models and queries for performance on SAP HANA
- Collaborate with business users, architects, and functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support for enhancements and incident resolution
- Maintain technical documentation, data flow design, and deployment support across landscapes
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA development

- Process Chains
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, including performance optimization and data modeling concepts
- Experience with ABAP routines, AMDP, and SQL/SQLScript
- Experience integrating BW/4HANA with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP source systems
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI
- Experience integrating or reporting on SAP Ariba data
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects, or similar analytics platforms
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Datasphere
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, supplier, or spend analytics
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern integration architectures
- Knowledge of REST APIs, file-based interfaces, and external data integration
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant SAP BW / BW/4HANA experience
- SAP certification in BW/4HANA, BTP, or related areas is a plus
