Role Description
Performance Testing Lead
Job Location- Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Test Leadership
- Lead and mentor QA and performance testing teams.
- Define test strategy, scope, estimates, and schedules.
- Act as the primary QA escalation and stakeholder interface.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.
- Provide test and quality sign‑off for releases.
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Lead requirements analysis for functional and non‑functional aspects.
- Review BRD/FRD/Design documents to identify risks and coverage gaps.
- Own test planning, test case reviews, execution, and reporting.
- Manage defect lifecycle, triage, prioritization, and root cause analysis.
- Track and report test metrics, defect trends, and quality KPIs.
- Support UAT and production readiness activities.
Performance Testing
- Own performance testing strategy and execution.
- Design workload models and performance test plans.
- Lead Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Scalability testing.
- Review and guide performance test script development.
- Analyze system metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory, etc.).
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with Dev, Infra, and DevOps teams.
- Deliver performance test reports and release recommendations.
Tools & Technologies
- Performance: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad
- Test Management: JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Azure DevOps
- Monitoring: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana (preferred)
- CI/CD & Others: Jenkins, Git, SQL, Linux/Windows
