Role Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and validation of CMS-compliant APIs (CRD, DTR, PAS) using a webMethods-based integration approach
- Build and maintain TypeScript-based API validations and automation using Playwright
- Validate API request/response behavior, headers, routing, and error handling
- Perform parity testing to ensure API outcomes align with existing Provider Portal workflows
- Validate FHIR payloads, required CMS fields, and data mappings
- Assist in identifying integration gaps, edge cases, and dependency issues
- Collaborate with Dev and QA teams on defect triage and resolution
- Coordinate with DevOps teams for environment readiness and deployment validation
- Support UAT cycles, release readiness, and CMS milestone validations
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or QA automation, with strong hands-on TypeScript
- Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and HTTP concepts
- Hands-on experience using Playwright for API validation and automation
- Good understanding of API-led / middleware-based architectures
- Familiarity with webMethods, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability concepts; Prior Authorization experience is a plus
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- API development support, validation, and limited performance checks
