Role Description
App Store / Mobile Operations Specialist
Role Overview
UST is seeking an experienced App Store / Mobile Operations Specialist to manage and support the end to end operational lifecycle of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth app publishing, release management, compliance, monitoring, and ongoing operational support of enterprise mobile applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with App Store and Play Store operations, mobile release processes, governance, and coordination across development, QA, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
App Store & Release Management
Manage mobile application publishing and updates on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Coordinate release planning, scheduling, and execution of mobile app deployments.
Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines, policies, and security requirements.
Handle app versioning, metadata updates, certificates, provisioning profiles, and store assets.
Mobile Operations & Monitoring
Monitor application health post release, including crash reports, store feedback, and performance metrics.
Coordinate incident management, hotfix releases, and rollback plans when required.
Support ongoing app maintenance activities, including upgrades and configuration changes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with mobile developers, QA teams, DevOps, and Product Owners to ensure release readiness.
Communicate release status, risks, and operational issues to technical and non technical stakeholders.
Act as the operational point of contact for mobile application lifecycle management.
Governance & Documentation
Maintain documentation related to app submissions, approvals, release notes, and operational procedures.
Ensure adherence to enterprise mobile governance, security, and compliance standards.
Support audit and compliance reviews related to mobile applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Operational Skills
Hands on experience managing applications on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Strong understanding of mobile app release cycles, store policies, and submission processes.
Knowledge of mobile app certificates, provisioning profiles, and signing processes.
Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools.
Process & Collaboration
Experience working with Agile delivery teams and cross functional stakeholders.
Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple releases and priorities.
Excellent communication skills to interact with development, QA, operations, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare mobile applications.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Familiarity with mobile security, compliance, and app governance best practices.
Experience Level
4-8+ years of experience in mobile application operations, app store management, or release coordination.
