Role Description
Role Overview
The Avaloq Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Avaloq-based solutions supporting DBS Wealth Management systems. The role requires strong hands-on Avaloq development expertise and the ability to independently deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Avaloq customizations and enhancements.
- Perform unit testing and ensure code quality and stability.
- Analyze functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support SIT and UAT defect resolution.
- Collaborate with BAs, QA, and production support teams.
- Ensure adherence to DBS coding, security, and compliance standards.
Mandatory Skills (Updated From JD Links)
- 3-8 years of hands-on Avaloq Development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Avaloq scripting
- Avaloq parameterization and configuration
- Ability to independently develop, test, and deliver Avaloq changes
- Proficiency in Unix & Shell Scripting
- Strong understanding of wealth management / private banking systems
- Experience working in large-scale banking transformation programs
Good-to-Have Skills
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) - highly preferred
- Knowledge of PL/SQL
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
