Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled
Backend / AI Platform Engineer with strong expertise in
Python, FastAPI, ELK stack indexing, and
Generative AI technologies (RAG, LLMs). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and scale backend services and AI-powered solutions while working closely with data, platform, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with secure and scalable architectures
- Implement and optimize ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for indexing, search, and observability
- Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions leveraging:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Large Language Models (LLMs) (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source models, etc.)
- Integrate vector databases and search mechanisms for semantic retrieval
- Design and optimize SQL queries and database schemas
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to ensure performance and data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, AI infrastructure, and feature delivery
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, performance, and security
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support
