Role Description
Job Title: Application Production Support Analyst - Enterprise Microservices
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Application Production Support Analyst to support enterprise-scale
microservices-based applications on a 24X7 Global delivery model. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, rapid incident resolution, and operational excellence across real-time and batch processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications built on microservices architecture
- Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution within SLA timelines
- Lead and manage incident triage bridges, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor application health using Splunk, Grafana dashboards for proactive issue detection
- Analyze logs and perform quick querying using Splunk for faster troubleshooting
- Support and troubleshoot batch jobs (Unix-based) including scheduling, failures, and recovery
- Work with Cassandra DB for querying, data validation, and issue analysis
- Manage and support services deployed on AWS and Kubernetes (K8s) environments
- Ensure stability during high-volume transaction periods
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
- Flexible to work on shifts including weekend support on a rotation basis.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Application Production Support
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Splunk (log analysis and quick querying)
- Grafana and monitoring dashboards
- Cassandra DB (strong querying skills; deep functional understanding)
- Unix/Linux (batch jobs, scripting, troubleshooting)
- AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments
- Proven ability to triage issues quickly and drive resolution under pressure
- Strong experience in incident management and bridge handling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability enterprise applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to observability frameworks and automation tools
