About the Role:
As a Graphic Designer Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of graphic designers, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of design projects. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of the company and ensuring that all design outputs align with the brand's aesthetic and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Training graphic designers to maintain a high-performance team.
- Assign tasks and projects to team members based on their skills and workload.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Design Oversight:
- Review and provide feedback on design concepts, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines, project requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain quality standards for all design outputs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Project Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Monitor project progress and address any challenges or issues promptly.
- Design Strategy:
- Develop and implement design strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
- Stay up to date with design trends and industry best practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify design opportunities and challenges.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and building strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- Degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 1 year of team leadership experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and a deep understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
