Senior Business Development Manager (Outbound Closer)

About the Role
This is a revenue-focused outbound sales role responsible for converting founder conversations into paying clients.
You will own the full sales cycle — from outbound engagement to discovery, qualification, objection handling, and deal closure.
This is not just a lead generation role. This is a closing role with direct revenue responsibility.
What You’ll Own
• Run targeted outbound to founder-led businesses across US & Canada (LinkedIn, email, job boards)
• Identify high-intent prospects based on hiring signals, growth signals, and business context
• Lead discovery calls with founders — understand operational bottlenecks and hiring challenges
• Position Leverage Remote’s managed execution model clearly and confidently
• Handle objections around pricing, hiring alternatives, and execution concerns
• Drive deal closure — from first conversation to signed SOW and first payment
• Maintain structured pipeline and CRM hygiene across all stages
• Continuously refine messaging, positioning, and conversion strategy
What We’re Looking For
• 4–8 years experience in B2B sales / outbound BD / closing roles
• Proven ability to run discovery calls and close deals (not just generate leads)
• Strong communication — clear, structured, and confident with founders
• Experience selling services, hiring solutions, or B2B offerings preferred
• Strong commercial thinking — able to understand business problems and position value
• Comfortable working with US/Canada markets (flexible timings)
• High ownership and accountability for revenue outcomes
Nice to Have
• Experience with D2C / e-commerce / startup ecosystem
• Familiarity with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Understanding of hiring, operations, or remote team models
Compensation
• ₹20–60+ LPA (performance-driven)
• Commission-heavy structure with strong upside on closures
• No cap on incentives for high performers
How Success is Measured
• Revenue closed (primary metric)
• Conversion rate from call → client
• Pipeline quality and deal velocity
• Client quality and retention (early-stage feedback)
Who This Is NOT For
• Only experienced in lead generation without closing experience
• Not comfortable handling objections and driving decisions
• Prefer structured / inbound-only sales environments
• Avoid ownership of revenue targets
